Woodland Burials proposed for Clackmannanshire

At the Clackmannanshire Council meeting on 25 September 2008 the council passed its cemeteries strategy which opens up the prospect of Woodland Burials in Clackmannanshire. This idea is gaining popularity with some people. What do you think? The relevant extract reads

"4.2. Provision of a new Woodland burial ground will give additional burial space and extend the choice of type of burial to Clackmannanshire's people. The woodland burial offers a "return to nature", for anyone wishing to be buried with trees, wild flowers and wildlife. The proposed woodland site in Alva has good vehicle access, is Council owned and nestles in to the foot of the Ochil Hills."
