SNP must respond to Lib Dem Budget calls

5.52.55pm GMT Tue 2nd Feb 2010

Commenting ahead of the final vote on the Budget, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis MSP said:

“We have led the debate on the need to rein in the pay bill for the highest paid public sector workers to free up resource to deliver more training places for young people, support for businesses to access finance and to support the vital Post Office network across rural Scotland.

“The SNP can show that they are serious about securing their budget by responding positively to our calls.”
